Romsa Law Office, P.C. was founded by Matthew H. Romsa in 2002, a fifth generation Romsa of Laramie County. Romsa’s ancestors homesteaded in eastern Laramie County in 1906 where Matthew continues the farm and ranch heritage in conjunction with a vibrant law practice. Romsa began his undergraduate studies by obtaining degrees in diesel mechanics, business administration, and accounting.
Romsa graduated from the University of Wyoming College of Law in 1989 and began his legal career as the Assistant City Attorney in Cheyenne for four years; in-house counsel for the Board of Public Utilities for four years focusing on municipal government, employment, water law, and public works contracts. In 1997, he joined Dray, Thomson & Dyekman P.C., where he practiced in estate planning, business planning, commercial litigation, real estate, and construction law. In 2002, Matthew founded Romsa Law Office, P.C. a general practice firm, focusing on Wills, Trusts, Estates, Business and Tax Planning, LLC’s, Corporations, Partnerships, Contracts, Real Estate, Construction law, Personal Injury, Accidents, Workmen’s Compensation, Family Law, and Non-felony criminal matters. Romsa is a “hometown boy” committed to serving the hard working men and women in the greater Cheyenne area.
