Steven Hernandez is a New Jersey DWI lawyer who specializes in DWI defense and uses his knowledge of forensic science and case law to protect the rights of his clients. He is one of the few attorneys who regularly takes DWI case to trial. He represents DWI cases all over the state of New Jersey. 

Mr. Hernandez is a Sustaining Member of the pretigous National College for DUI Defense (NCDD) and actively participates in many of the rigorous training seminars they conduct. Mr. Hernandez has been CERTIFIED by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Municipal Court Trial Lawyer and Is Board Certified in DWI Defense by the National College for DUI Defense. 

Mr. Hernandez is a Founding Member of the DUI Defense Lawyers Association. Mr. Hernandez is a DUI Detection & Standardized Field Sobriety Testing Instructor, the same course recognized by the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA), used to train police personnel in the administration of field sobriety tests. Mr. Hernandez lectures regularly on Field Sobriety Testing. Mr. Hernandez has received training in the Advanced Roadside Impaired Driving Enforcement (ARIDE) and well as the Drug Recognition Evaluations (DRE). 

Mr. Hernandez also has the necessary scientific skills needed to defend DWI cases. He is also a certified Alcotest 7110 operator. Mr. Hernandez has completed over 100 hours of forensic science training in Forensic Chromatography, the method in which blood DWI cases is analyzed, DUI-Drug, the science behind drug DUI's, and Forensic Solid Drug Dose, which deals with the analysis of drugs, both legal and illicit.
