Melissa Wurster’s practice focuses primarily on complex real estate, insurance and business litigation. Ms. Wurster has also handled numerous appellate matters. Her real estate litigation practice includes representing subcontractors and material suppliers in construction defect actions as well as clients in commercial lease disputes, quiet title actions, land use matters and eminent domain. Her business litigation practice includes corporate and partnership disputes, breach of contract and unfair business practices. Ms. Wurster has also litigated insurance coverage and bad faith actions, successfully representing clients in trial and appellate courts throughout California and in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal.
Ms. Wurster was born in St. Louis, Missouri and raised in St. Louis and South Central Missouri. She attended the University of Southern California, where she graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Political Science before earning her J.D. from USC Law School in 1998. Ms. Wurster is admitted to practice in all California state courts, the U.S. District Court for the Northern, Eastern and Central Districts of California, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal.
